Shinnen Akemashite Omedetou~ :D

Alhamdulillahirrabilalamin. Thanks God for Your Blessings, which had been given for me, my family, my lover, and my friends in the last year.

In this year, 2012,
I pray for my health, wish for better result and have a better progression in my therapy, and I can maintain my condition, so I don’t often sick and must be hospitalized (again);

I pray for my education, wish for my better result, and hurry finish my lectures, in order to graduate from ITB;

I pray for my family and my friends, wish for their health, their luck, their careers, their finance;

I pray for myself, wish for better results in everything in my life, than before. I hope I can face up academic things wholeheartedly this year, study better in Pharmacy and Genshiken, open up “my social life” to the world I hope I can support my friends, my family and my lover with smile and big heart.

I pray for my lover, bless him with all of Your Love. Wish for his health, his education, his luck, his career, his finance. Raise his heart with smile and his cheerful attitude which always make my day perfectly fine.

Chase – L’Arc~en~Ciel

Before I review the newest album from L’Arc~en~Ciel, BUTTERFLY, let me review CHASE, newest single from Laruku, released on December 21st, 2012. The lyric was written by Hyde, while the arrangement was composed by Ken and Hyde. The song will become an OST for WILD 7 MOVIE LIVE ACTION, which will release on May 2012.

When I heard this song at the first time, I’m shocked a bit. A techno music played at the first intro. “Maybe this song created by Yukkie-kun”, I mumbled, because his creation is pure uniquely, beating and jumping, and VERY different from cheerful tone Tetsu, gloomy song Ken, or melancholy lyric from Hyde. But, when I search at the internet, wew~ a person who create this song was Ken XD Suddenly made me remember with another songs at the past, such as The Nepenthes and EXISTENCE (which had the same genre I think with CHASE XD). The touch of techno genre dominantly heard at the first verse, but when the song came up to the bridge part, the guitar’s sound heard so brightly, up to the reff (plus with Hyde’s scream XD) kyaaaa~ Repeat it a whole at the second verse until the second reff, and closed the song by outro with the same tone at the intro, of course with techno touch. XD

The lyric, hmm.. I cannot comment this too much, but for a song which will become the original soundtrack, it’s good. There’s the phrase “Fallen Angel~” in the lyric, refers up to the seven bandits who will be the main star at the movie.

Bitter Melon (Pare in Indonesian)

Here with me again, Riana! XD yesterday when I reviewed Laruku’s single, XXX, I encouraged myself to write some posts. Now, I’ll try a different post, and write an article about pharmacy. XD Okay, first, I want to ask you about Pare (Paria), or in English, it called by “Bitter Melon”. Anybody knows? o.o? I believe, you surely know, hehe.. You know, I ate this at my dinner, my mother cooked them into a good dish, spicy and not too bitter for me XD

Bitter Melon, or Pare / Paria, is tropical and subtropical vine of the family Cucurbitaceae, grown widely in Asia, Africa, and around Caribbean. The binominal name for bitter melon is Momordica charantia. It is the most bitter of the fruit, and yes, it’s edible.

Bitter melon have many varieties and sizes. I don’t know how many phenotypes of them in the world, but bitter melon I always ate at home has a light-green colors, *or pale green I think*, approximately 20-30 cm long, and has a warty surface. The colors will change to the yellow or red, if the fruit has ripen, and you can eat or cook that, when the fruit in the early yellowing stage.

Actually, bitter melon often uses as a medicine, especially for antidiabetes, antihelmintic, antimalarial, antiviral, cardioprotective, and anticancer. Bitter melon has a substance called charantin, extracted by Lolitkar and Rao in 1962, which had hypoglycemic effect on normal and diabetic rabbits (in vivo pre-clinic experiment). Bitter melon also contains a lectin that has insulin-like activity due to its non-protein-specific linking together to insulin receptors. This lectin lowers blood glucose concentrations by acting on peripheral tissues and, similar to insulin’s effects in the brain, suppressing appetite.  Bitter melon is used as a folk medicine in Togo o treat gastrointestinal diseases, and extracts have shown activity (in vitro experiment or test at chemistry tube without animal test) against the nematode worm Caernorhabditis elegans.

Laboratory tests suggest that compounds in bitter melon might be effective for treating HIV infection. As most compounds isolated from bitter melon that impact HIV have either been proteins or lectins, neither of which are well-absorbed, it is unlikely that oral intake of bitter melon will slow HIV in infected people. It is possible oral ingestion of bitter melon could offset negative effects of anti-HIV drugs, if a test tube study can be shown to be applicable to people. Moreover, two compounds extracted from bitter melon, alpha-eleostearic acid (from seeds) and 15,16-dihidroxy-alpha-eleostearic-acid (from fruit)have been found to induce apoptosis  of leukemia cells in vitro.

XXX – L’Arc~en~Ciel

Yo~! Back with me, Riana~!! XD After a long long long time *actually 6 months* since I wrote my post at May 2011, suddenly I have so many courage for blogging again. I don’t know why, perhaps holiday just make me so bored, so I must have anything to do XD. And, tada! I make it happen~ with English, not Indonesian as usual. Weird but I’ll try, since I often make any article in other language. So, sorry for my unusual words, because it’s my first time~! kyaaaa XD :p

Okay, let me start my article with review song from my favorite band, L’Arc~en~Ciel, who release their singles entitled “XXX” at October 9th (CMIIW btw).

My first impression about this song : VERY SWEET AND SEDUCING~! XD Why? Just look at the PV, concept of XXX is so similar with Joujoushi, with many girls dance, sing, and members of Laruku with white suit are among of them. Some of that girls ate the golden apple. Next, scene moves to screen with all members perform with their black suit and golden tree behind them.

Apparently, I realize then *from some source in Internet XD*, the concept of PV is from Adam-Eve Scene in Bible, when they tempted by snake’s persuasion to eat the golden apple. So, I conclude, L’Arc~en~Ciel members, who has the same suit colors with the snake, are the personification of the snake. The next prove is the golden tree, I think.
Maybe you think I will hate that, but you’re wrong~!! I LOVE THAT PV~!! XD because the lyric is honest, about the sweetest time when we kiss someone we love. addictive and seducing. XD

I rate this song 8/10. The concept of PV is interesting, Hyde is kawaii as usual~ *with his long hair XD* But, at 2011, the best PV for me is still Good Luck My Way (rate 9/10).

Maybe I’ll write the lyric soon, saa mattemasu XD

Siswa-Siswi Jepang Paling Sopan di Dunia

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID,TOKYO – Jepang bisa membanggakan disiplin siswa-siswi negara tersebut di sekolah. Perilaku siswa Jepang di kelas itu lebih baik atau terbaik dunia. Demikian hasil penelitian internasional.

Menurut hasil penelitian tersebut, murid-murid di Jepang menempati posisi tertinggi dalam peringkat perilaku baik. Laporan dari forum kerjasama ekonomi OECD mendapati jumlah gangguan di kelas pada tahun 2009 lebih sedikit jika dibandingkan angka hasil penelitian tahun 2000.

Siswa-siswi di Inggris berperilaku lebih baik jika dibandingan perilaku rata-rata siswa di negara lain. Namun, negara dan kawasan Asia mendominasi posisi teratas di daftar peringkat perilaku terbaik.

OECD menerbitkan analisis statistik perilaku yang dihimpun sebagai bagian dari penelitian internasional forum tersebut. Penelitian itu juga membandingkan kinerja sistem pendidikan.

Penelitian OECD mencermati tingkat gangguan yang terjadi di kelas dari segi berapa lama guru harus menunggu siswa usia 15 tahun ”menjadi tenang” dalam proses belajar. Penelitian mendapati bahwa, meski banyak pihak merisaukan perilaku buruk, kemungkinan remaja gaduh dan berulah itu menurun jika dibandingkan dengan hasil analisis internasional serupa pada 2000.

”Keyakinan umum selama ini mempercayai disiplin siswa turun dari satu angkatan ke angkatan berikutnya. Keyakinan tersebut juga mempercayai bahwa para guru kehilangan kendali atas kelas mereka. Namun, keyakinan umum itu keliru,” kata laporan OECD. ”Antara tahun 2000 dan 2009, disiplin di sekolah ternyata tidak memburuk. Bahkan, di banyak negara disiplin siswa justru meningkat.”

Negara-negara dan kawasan di Asia menempati tujuh dari 10 tempat teratas. Tiga tempat teratas ditempati oleh negara di Eropa timur.

Dua sistem persekolahan Cina (Shangai dan Hongkong) berada di posisi empat teratas. Ini mencerminkan munculnya Cina sebagai adidaya pendidikan yang tengah bangkit.

Dalam hasil pengukuran penelitian terhadap keterampilan baca-tulis yang diterbitkan bulan Desember, sistem persekolahan Shanghai menempati posisi teratas di dunia. Dalam penelitian perilaku ini, Inggris menempati posisi ke-28 dengan skor yang menempatkan perilaku siswa Inggris di atas rata-rata. Posisi Inggris di belakang Amerika Serikat dan Jerman, tapi di atas Prancis dan Italia.

Peringkat pendidikan internasional hasil penelitian OECD ini menempatkan negara-negara Skandinavia di posisi bawah. Finlandia, yang biasanya berada di peringkat teratas urutan sekolah dunia, berada di tiga posisi terbawah. Hanya Argentina dan Yunani yang disebut mengalami gangguan lebih banyak di dalam kelas.

Cosplay The Series : A Cosplay Comedy Web Series

Cosplay the Series adalah sebuah film indie non-profit yang dibuat oleh beberapa komunitas cosplay yang berasal dari Bandung, dimana kelompok tersebut akhirnya menamakan dirinya sebagai Q Cosushinkai Project. Film dengan durasi cukup pendek ini beredar di Youtube sejak April 2011, dengan total seluruh episode berjumlah sebanyak 9 episode, dengan alur dan arc yang berbeda-beda. Film ini bercerita tentang sebuah klub cosplay SMA Kebanggaan Bangsa, bernama Q-Cosushinkai, yang terancam dibubarkan karena pihak sekolah merasa bahwa identitas klub cosplay mereka tidak menggambarkan nama sekolah mereka, kebanggaan bangsa (OTL mode ). Namun, ternyata dibalik rencana tersebut, ternyata semuanya telah direncanakan sejak jauh hari sebelumnya, bahwa rencana tersebut merupakan bagian dari konspirasi komunitas cosplay internasional (hah?! wtf O_O;;).

Kini, serial Cosplay the Series, atau yang sering disebut CTS, telah mencapai episode 6 sejak kemunculan pertamanya. Hmm.. mungkin progress ceritanya kurang memberi impact di mata saia~ tapi ini sebenarnya awal yang bagus, untuk mengenalkan dunia cosplay ke orang-orang luar.. bahwa sesungguhnya cosplay bukanlah bagian dar hobi yang cuma bisa ngabisin duit aja,, tapi dengan cosplay kita juga bisa berkreasi sesuai dengan yang kita inginkan,, dan satu hal yang penting,…. imaginasi. Yap! Berimaginasi lah selagi kau bisa, selagi kau mampu, karena mungkin saja dengan imaginasi itu, kita mampu mengubah dunia

INORI – Isshoni no Monogatari-

Acara INORI diselenggarakan di SMAN 3 Bandung, sekitar Jalan Belitung, tanggal 22 Mei 2011 kemarin. Acara INORI ini merupakan acara tahunan yang biasa diselenggarakan oleh NK SMAN 3 Bandung atau Nihon-Kurabu. Acaranya cukup bagus kok~ ada cosplay (team, kabaret dan individu), perform band, otaku battle, Obake house dan cosplay cafe. Secara overall ku kasih nilai 7.5 sampai 8 deh, untuk ukuran acara anak SMA~ xD

Acaranya sebenernya bagus loh, dan bisa dibilang kreatif banget~
terutama bagian otaku battle, dimana disini waktu membuktikan diri sebagai otaku sejati! xD
Sayang saia telat ikutan karena paling lambat daftar sebelum jam 10 pagi, sedangkan saia datang pukul 1 siang, bersama dengan Kyu Renjo :”>
Saia dan Kyu sempat melakukan kegiatan lolwut saat acara berlangsung, yaitu mengenakan topeng Kyubey bersamaan xD
haha~ xD

Untuk cosplay competition, semuanya epic deh, terutama yang cosplay jadi Garudaboi *temen saia yang cosplay sebenernya* hehe~ dan sempet menuai pujian juga dari teman-teman yang datang ke acara.. bahkan Kyu pun mengakui kalau perform nya bagus dan menghibur~
Thx buat Gumi, Kuro dan Sentai yang dah membawakan SHINEE-nya Lucifer di acara INORI xD

Untuk cosplay cafenya, hmm lumayan lah~ maido maido bertebaran + fanservice.. cuma sayang sekali.. harga makanan dan minuman yang ditawarkan ternyata mahal T^T.. jadinya cuma lihat dua orang yang sedang bertanding YuGiOh di meja cosu cafe.. dan seperti biasa, Kyu sangat antusias dan excited banget o.o

Untuk obake house-nya, komentar saia = MANTAP! sumpah di dalamnya serem banget lah~ kaget campur takut tapi lolwut xD no comment deh..

hmm.. soal kompetisi band-nya, cukup bersaing kok.. apalagi band dari Genshiken tampil yaitu Sweet Vanilla yang bawain dua lagu dari Digimon (Butterfly – Wada Kouji) dan Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (God Knows – Aya Hirano). walau belum menang, tapi menurutku ini awal yang baik kok buat mereka.. semangat xD

Satu yang saia sayangkan, otaku battle yang saia harapkan bakalan epic dan heboh, malah terkesan biasa dan garing.. pertanyaan yang dilontarkan cukup freak dan layak buat diajukan,, cuma suasana pembawaan kuis nya agak kurang meriah,, jadinya terkesan biasa aja hehe o.o

Hmm.. intinya, sepulang dari acara INORI, saia senang dan puas deh~ banyak pengalaman dan seru banget xD
Tahun depan, bikin lagi dan lebih semarak lagi yah xD
